What is important to understand and be mindful of is that therapy is an investment into your mental health, relationships, fulfillment of your potentials, as well as achievement of harmony and overall life bliss.  Please do not underestimate the benefits of therapy.  While initially you may doubt if your time, effort and money are not wasted, in a long run you will be reassured of its effectiveness when having overcome a personal, relationship, intimacy or family problem, felt relieved and reestablished happiness.  How much is that worth? On the other hand, what are the potential costs that could dramatically impact your life if you did not start therapy? Loneliness, insecurity, feeling disconnected with yourself or other people, lack of motivation, feeling insignificant, not needed or unloved, divorce, feeling unfulfilled, relationships issues, and many more could become the consequences of not starting therapy. The success of treatment is the result of commitment and continuity.
